Three Worrywarts grace the cover, all big eyes and anxious faces. Wombat, Weasel and Woodchuck decide to 'wander the world' but they find so much to worry about, all beginning with 'What if ...' and all involving a large number of "W" words.

Imagined hazards include wallflowers and wasps, waves and a walrus, a wolf and a whirlwind, an owl and a warthog. Good thing they brought the 'W volume of the Webster's Book of Words' in Woodchuck's wheelbarrow, and the watermelon and wieners come in handy too.

The Worrywarts is a wonderful exercise in imagination, with an imbedded message about the power of preparation in negating worry and dealing with life ... 'We won't be worrywarts!' Both kids and parents will enjoy the absurdity of the adventure, along with expanding their "W" vocabulary.
