It's filled with different mother/child and father/child duos, playfully interacting with one another. It opens (over several pages): 'Hey baby! / Look at you, looking at me, / looking at you, looking at me.' Next dad waves at baby and baby waves back; then, mom and infant feed, hug, splash, and laugh at each other. It ends: 'It's you and me, and me and you, / just you and me, baby!' This touching board book - and its evocative photographs of different parent/baby pairs - does a very nice job of emphasizing the overwhelming love between adult and infant.
