There is an alligator affectionately holding a baby alligator in its mouth; giraffes kissing; and a sweet picture of a polar bear cuddling with polar bear cubs. The end of the book contains detailed information about each of the animals featured - even indicating which are threatened or endangered species - as well as discussion questions about how humans show affection. Close to You: How Animals Bond is a good snuggle-up bedtime book for young children to share with their caregivers.
