F
ans of the
Fancy Nancy
line of books have reason to celebrate - Nancy is back in another fancy adventure. In this romp, Nancy and her best friend Bree (who is just as fancy as Nancy) are excited about Bree's butterfly-themed birthday party. The girls spend time making fancy butterfly invitations.
N
ancy is devastated when she learns that her grandparent's 50th wedding anniversary party is on the same day as Bree's birthday party and that she'll have to miss the butterfly birthday party. However, Nancy has so much fancy fun at the anniversary party that she
forgets to be furious (that's a fancy word for
mad
) and gets a special treat the next day: she goes to a butterfly garden where she makes the acquaintance of an azure butterfly.
F
ancy Nancy: Bonjour, Butterfly
- which has all the charm of the first two picture books, with whimsical illustrations and snappy dialogue - is sure to appeal to fancy little girls everywhere.
