It's all about foodstuffs that are delicious to eat, but require care when hot. There are varied textures to feel - of waffles, a spaghetti coil, a cob of corn, and a soft marshmallow. They alternate with enticing odors to smell (via scratch-and-sniff circles) of all our favorites - pizza, chocolate, and strawberry frosting on a yummy cake. With each tempting edible, kids are warned not to touch as in 'Don't touch! The candles are HOT. / Blow! Blow! Blow! But the cake is not.' Small children will enjoy interacting with each two page spread, while their families will appreciate the emphasis on safety.
