The board book sizing is loved by little persons because they can be easily held and carried. Author Mary Josephs and illustrator Katy Bratun teamed up for All Aboard Noah's Ark! with an attention-getting, colorful cover. In the spotlight is Noah, the ark, moose, elephants, zebra, tigers - and take a peek at the smiling alligators looking out the portholes! The text begins, 'God told Noah to build a great ark', with Noah on the ground studying the arc's design. The corresponding page shows the ark in its beginning stage of construction. The extra special treat in this book is the lift-out piece on each page. First is the outline of the inside of the ark, and when that picture is popped out, there is a picture of the completed ark! After forty days, the rain stopped. The last page is a happy page, with smiling characters on the ark that has reached dry land. Extra special is the lift-up piece displaying a beautiful rainbow surrounding Noah and his friends. Magical!
