The words of Elvis Presley's classic song are accompanied by Tom Browning's lovely and loving drawings of a father and daughter involved in all sorts of activities together. They peruse a card she has made for him, cut out hearts, sit in the park, read together, enjoy a picnic, feed ducks. He helps her ride a bike, ski and skate. It's a perfect, caring relationship that matches the acclaimed song - 'Love me tender, love me sweet; / Never let me go. / You have made my life complete, / And I love you so.' The book comes with a CD of Elvis singing the words of the song, which should be enough to start a whole new generation of fans. Elvis Presley's Love Me Tender makes a wonderful, heartwarming bedtime book for dads to read with their children.
