Big things, little things, and things in between.' Though most children don't take it to that extent, some do, and of course most worry about a lot more than most adults realize. Wemberly worried especially about her doll Petal, and it made her rub Petal's ears all the time. So of course, when it was time to start school, this generated a very long list of things to worry about. But at school she met Jewel and playing with her new friend, she worried 'no more than usual. And sometimes even less.' Wemberly Worried is a charming book, just the thing to read with a child who is even a little worried about school - and it might alleviate some parental anxiety as well!
