his gorgeously illustrated picture book celebrates the anticipation of any birth, and in particular a very special birth, that of baby Jesus. The cover image reflects the intensity of feeling that any mother has for her newborn infant.

is both an ode to Christmas, and a reminder of how much parents celebrate their children on all their birthdays. Young readers will appreciate this lovely re-telling of the Christmas story, as well as the reminder of how much they themselves were - and are - treasured.
