W
iley & Grampa are back in this second of their crazed
Creature Features
. This time, Wiley invites his classmates at Gingham Elementary to his grampa's annual barbeque - for '
real edible food
' rather than the '
pulsating slop
' served by Vera the lunch lady.
T
he morning of the event (also to be the day of a solar eclipse), Gramma hoses down '
375 chickens and 53 yards of sausage
' with her special marinade, and Merle the cat (my favorite character) mixes the lemonade. All goes well until the eclipse brings uninvited guests - '
The zombies are a comin'!
' yells the gravedigger as the Eternal Naps Cemetery empties out an army of voracious undead.
W
hat happens? They gobble down the chicken and sausage, and join in the fun and games. All is well, till the food starts running out, when Heck's Angels flee on their electric scooters. It's a siege till Wiley - with a little help from Vera and a punny Gramma - comes up with an explosive plan. As always, the adventure ends with a
Crackpot Snapshot
and a challenge to find all the differences between two photos (this time of the
Zombie Karaoke Sing-Off
).
