n the first of the pair, two small elves ride a large bird '
Silverly, / 'Silverly, / Over the trees
' to peep through a window to a bedroom where '
A little girl / Dreams with the / Moon in her Head.
' We see the duo again, nestled onto an elephant's tusk and trunk in the second poem, that begins, '
The dark is dreaming. / Day is done. / Good night, good night / To everyone
' and continues to reveal a sleeping boy.

he little girl's bedtime reading is

, while
Silverly
rests on the boy's bedcovers. Both poems make sweet bedtime reading for wee ones.
