Amelia, who owns the classy apartment building where Hadley resided, is a gifted young witch who sometimes oversteps her budding powers. Amelia has all the characteristics required to make an entertaining side-kick for future
Southern Vampire
mysteries.

ookie Stackhouse fans should also be on the lookout for a TV pilot based on the series later this year. It will be written and directed by Alan Ball, the creator of HBO's
Six Feet Under
and should be a hoot.
