Kaszuba Locke Alexis Barad begins her book for wee ones, 'My mommy really loves me, and this I know is true. Every day she thinks of things the both of us can do.' Each page is graced with mellow pastel-color traditional figures from the Precious® Moments collection, with tear-shaped deep eyes looking at the reader, as illustrated by Samuel Butcher. A line per page shows Mommy's love when a child makes a few mistakes - oops! dropped the bag of sugar while helping with the baking - and all the ways Mommy knows how to make a day rosy. Mommy comforts her little one when she tenderly kisses a bandaged bruised-knee, and she's there when the night-time is just a little bit scary for both child and puppy. 'Mommy Loves Me ... And every day I tell her, I Love You'. This is a perfect book for little hands to hold while Mommy holds the child during a reading session. Precious!
