versized and life-like in both book design and inside artwork, the story begins, '
Once upon a time, a farmer went to market and brought home three little piglets.
' One of them was pure white, and was named Bianca by the farmer's daughter. The farmer trained the piglets to hunt for truffles to sell at the market. Bianca soon gave birth to piglets of her own. She taught her babies everything she knew, especially how to find truffles.
O
ne day Bianca decided to taste a truffle, and found it so delicious that, unfortunately, the farmer had to release Bianca and her babes. Mother and her two children went into the woods to live, and found lots of truffles to eat. But one dark night, a large wolf was hiding behind a tree. Clever Bianca gave the wolf some truffles, and the wolf licked his lips with pleasure.
