he text and concepts are simple, as they are geared toward the youngest of children. Those familiar with Cronin's other books will laugh as they realize that Farmer Brown has once again been outsmarted by his clever farm animals. Lewin's illustrations are true to her unique style, with bold outlines, soft watercolors and almost child-like characterizations.
