Night Noises
' to play '
The Best Trick
' - Sandra Gilbert Brug tells us that '
Besides shouting, / "BOO!"

wearing a mask, / so neighbors will ask, / "Do we know / YOU?"

arents will especially appreciate Jane Yolen's '
On Halloween
' that lists candy and concludes, '
Four candy apples, / A raisin cluster - / Halloween's a tummy buster.
' But kids will enjoy reading and re-reading all these simple poems as they anticipate the
tummy-busting
holiday.
