It's quite something! I rather liked 'A mouse with big ears, who really liked quiet' and the Smile-o-saurus who introduces his 'horse-cow-flamingo-pig-froggy-duck pet!' But the best part is the ending - 'On that very first school day ever they met / A friend more fantastic than they had met yet ...' Can you guess who that would be? How could a child worry about the first day of school after turning these funny, flamboyant pages and meeting all the fantastic friends moving through them?
