'There was once a man who fell in love with a broom.' It's a rather mysterious broom. She looks home-made and really doesn't belong in the store. The man takes her home, and leaves her in a corner where he can admire her, day in and day out. When the broom droops and sheds bark, the man consults a veterinarian, who tells him that brooms love to sweep and that the poor thing simply needs some exercise. So he sweeps. And when he discovers that his broom is a 'sweepwalker', he dances with her. Soon the word spreads, and the dancing broom entertains the neighborhood ... until she disappears one day. The man consults a fortune-teller, who reveals to him all the broom's adventures. The man finds her again, but it seems this restless, magical broom has a taste for travel, and so he sets her free.
