This one begins, 'Reading makes you feel good because ...' Why does reading make you feel good? Todd explains in simple terms that it lets you use your imagination, 'learn about cool places and people', and 'make a new friend'. He also reminds us that 'you can do it anywhere!' He gives many more examples of the plus side of reading - I love the zoo panda bears 'Ting Ting & Bing Bing', and the underwater octopus with a book in each of its eight arms! Todd closes with the advice to 'curl up with someone special and read a book' together. Why not start with this one?
