Beautiful illustrations accompany topics such as Jesus' favorite activities, toys he might have played with, possible pets, visits to grandma's house, foods he might have eaten, school, and friends. The questions posed by the author will spark children's thinking about Jesus' life in relation to their own. My own kids(ages 4 and 6) enjoyed listening to the story and began to talk about ways Jesus might have lived and the things he might have done at their age. I Wonder ... Did Jesus Have a Pet Lamb? helps to make Jesus more real in the eyes of children, which in turn makes him more accessible to them and encourages a closer relationship ...
