The text moves simply from 'My daddy wakes me' through the day to 'My daddy cuddles me' and 'I love my daddy', but little ones will adore the pictures of a huge, honey-colored bear and the small cub he keeps close to him. You can almost feel the texture of the dense, sun-kissed fur on both large and little bears. The love between them shines off the pages, as they eat, bathe, play (the hide-and-seek through the woods brings back memories), sit, yawn, and cuddle together. As warm and close as a big bear hug, I Love My Daddy will remind small children how much they adore their own daddies, and how much that love is reciprocated.
