T
his little board book celebrates a rather silly looking dad, whose child says - despite all the pictorial goofiness - '
He's all right, my dad
', sharing a perspective on each and every one of dad's amazing abilities.
W
e learn that this superdad fears nothing (even the
Big Bad Wolf
), can jump over the moon just like the cow, and walk a tightrope clothes line. He can '
eat like a horse
' and '
swim like a fish
', and he's happy as a hippo. Personally, my favorite is the '
wise as an owl
' illustration, owl head, old brown bathrobe and all.
W
ith such amazing talents, it's no wonder this little one tells us '
I love my dad.
'
My Dad
warms the heart and is sure to be a bedtime favorite with kids, dads and grandads everywhere.
