Otto has decided to make his own birthday cake, and its ingredients include 'three bones, some pepperoni, a cootie bug' and mud for frosting. Doesn't make me salivate but it's sure to please Otto's canine buddies. They come in all sizes (love the wiener dog!) and even Cool Kitty shows up. There are birthday games and an assortment of presents (some not quite right, which leaves a good opening for parents to talk about saying thanks anyway). And when the cake explodes, a special delivery shows up just in time for the 'best birthday party ever.' Otto Has A Birthday Party is weird, wacky, and in wild colors - just the sort of picture book a small child will love to read, while anticipating their own or a friend's birthday.
