T
his is the delightful tale (illustrated in strong primary colors) of a little dinosaur who's different - in fact, he's '
so short-sighted he couldn't find his way out of his egg.
' He bumps so much that his mother calls him
Bumposaurus
. This little fellow gets into all kinds of trouble, while his family simply think he's adventurous, clumsy, or naughty.
O
nly luck saves him from the hazards all around after he runs away, and he comes close to being dessert ('
pudding
') for a scary Tyrannosaurus Rex. Fortunately, family shows up to save the day, and they introduce him to Grandma, who has the answer to the little dino's difficulty.
Bumposaurus
is the perfect story to read to a child who needs glasses, or to teach kids in general about the challenges of being different.
