Cassandra-like, she approaches each family member in turn. They all pooh pooh her fears but do admit that 'If the wolves come out of the walls, then it's all over.' What does the family do after '... the wolves came out of the walls'? These frightening beasts take over the house and even beat all the high scores in Lucy's brother's video game. Each of Lucy's parents and her brother have ideas, from moving to the Arctic circle or Outer Space to living in a hot-air balloon. You'll have to read the book to find out their ultimate solution, but Lucy and her pig-puppet lead the way, of course! The Wolves in the Walls starts a little spooky, but it's ultimately a feast for the imagination and fantastic fun, with a cute twist at the finish.
