After soccer practice and time spent playing with the reluctant cat, disaster strikes. Olivia's toy is missing!! She needs it NOW. Olivia searches EVERYWHERE and interrogates her younger brothers. Later (it's a dark and stormy night of course), she hears an 'awful sound', which gets louder and HORRIBLE. Should she open that closed door? Olivia does, of course, and there's a monster inside ... well, it's a monstrous shadow, which reveals to her the secret of the missing toy. The story is entertaining and injected with the drama that fills children's everyday lives. Enjoy reading, and acting out, Olivia ... and the Missing Toy together.
