n the first episode, she found she could communicate with cathedral ghosts like Brother Michael. When violence erupted from crypt sarcophagi, Hecate worked with Police Inspector Winter to defeat it, but she also loved and lost vicar John Forsyth. Along the way, she learned that the Essedenes (an ancient tribe of cannibals) were behind all that had happened, and were using someone at the cathedral to summon Resurgent Spirits of the dead, who then hunted and possessed living hosts. Their numbers are increasing - do they aim to take the city?
H
