The title comes from Nadim's mother asking about his feelings coming home. Nadim's reply - 'You take off your brave.' I especially liked the verses on Love and Baddies - 'Baddies love their baddie friends / Even very baddie ones.' My Lonely Garden sums up reflection beautifully. And Scared-Sugar is all about putting on your brave and stretching boundaries. Read Take Off Your Brave with a wee one, who might just share some of her or his feelings and even write a verse or two of their own.
