'. After Shaoning was born, the brothers did everything together.

hen came the Cultural Revolution in China, with book burning, labor camps and prison. When work separated the brothers, Shaoli dreamed of paintings flying free. After he reunited with Shaoning, they painted together, inspired by their grandmother's stories and by cliff paintings near their childhood home.
C
hina was changing too, so that now the Zhou brothers are world-renowned artists. They encourage others to do what they did and follow their dreams, despite adversity.
