H
ere's a bedtime tale by Karl Newson about two bears, Luna and her Mama, who make a wish every night, for
all the stars across the sky
.
T
his particular night, Luna wishes '
that we could fly like birds!
' - and they do, in their imaginations anyway.
L
una continues to wish to '
swim like fish
', be smaller like ladybugs, creep and climb, '
gaze over treetops
' like giants, and '
stomp, stomp, stomp
' back to bed again.
T
hough the bedtime flight of imagination is not new, Chiaki Okada's illustrations are spectacular, and who doesn't love teddy bears at bedtime?
