H
ere's a delightful story in cartoon format, all about a good dog, Rosie, who's also a lonely dog, though she does enjoy walks with her owner, George.
W
hen George realizes that Rosie needs company, he takes her to the dog park - but she's overwhelmed '
and a little bit afraid
' of too many strange dogs - especially Maurice with his stuffed bunny, and yippy Fifi with her sparkly collar.
W
hen big Maurice plays too roughly with small Fifi, Rosie has to intervene. But they do eventually figure out how to be friends ... and Rosie becomes a regular at the dog park.
I
t's a cute tale that emphasizes how strong friendships can be built despite differences, and that they take some effort.
