Big Kid Bed    by Leslie Patricelli Order:  USA  Can Candlewick, 2018 (2018) Hardcover, e-Book     Reviewed by Hilary Williamson Here's Leslie Patricelli's wonderful baby character in yet another board book, this one looking at the transition (from baby's perspective) to a Big Kid Bed. It's exciting, but there's some anxiety as well - 'What if I fall?' Baby's parents surround the bed with cushions for that one, and Baby snuggles up with pets and stuffed animals to feel more secure. Then there's that inevitable discovery, of the ability to get out of bed! This board book ends up with Baby back in her/his own bed - not what happened in my household, but the right message for little ones, for sure.
