In it, a family embarks on a bear hunt, with a number of obstacles to get past before they reach their goal. Young readers get to pull on tabs to see changing images that show how the family of five (and their dog) get through 'Long, wavy grass', a river, 'Thick, oozy mud', a dark forest, a snowstorm, and finally a cave.
