Then have a look at Martin Handford's Where's Waldo?: Games on the Go! for entertainment en route. It's chock full of 'Puzzles, Activities and Searches', and even includes a compact foldout Muddy Swampy Jungle board game. There are memory tests, mazes, word puzzles, true/false statements, coded messages, jokes, riddles, tongue twisters and more. This is a great resource for travel, but perhaps not while driving, as focus on all the detailed images might cause car sickness.
