'Frost paints. / Skies gray. / Windows sparkle. / Snow? Yay!' Grandma is visiting, so brother and sister head outside to enjoy the white drifts with her. Out comes the sleigh and into the forest they wander: 'Woods hush. / Fields glisten. / Wren sings. / We listen.' They head into town and help Grandpa clear a path with shovels. They toboggan, make snow angels, and when they feel the chill, head inside for hot drinks and a warm cuddle. There's always a lot going on when the snow falls and this charming picture book captures those events - and feelings - very well.
