A wolf gobbles up a mouse, but that's only the beginning ... Deep in 'the belly of the beast', the mouse finds he's not alone. He meets a duck who declares, 'I may have been swallowed, but I have no intention of being eaten.' When their festivities give the wolf a belly-ache, they suggest a remedy, that improves their situation - but not their host's tummy pains - even more. Then the wolf meets a hunter, His gobbled guests must rally to defend their new, dark home - and are rewarded for it. The story is all rather silly but also the kind of fun that small children will appreciate.
