Here's a picture book to read together, Stacy McAnulty's 101 Reasons Why I'm Not Taking a Bath (illustrated by Joy Ang) - and the little boy on the cover could really use one! He starts listing his reasons for not bathing, and how he plans to cope without an aquatic dunking: 'I'm allergic to water ... I'll clean myself like the cat ... Aliens might attack while I'm in the bath ... I can't find my arm floaties ... Baths kill trees ... Monsters live in the drain.' You get the idea. Of course he does get in the bath.
