'Wally did NOT need a haircut. Nobody could make him get one', even after Mama and Sheepdog - and all kinds of other critters - showed him how it was done (you have to love the bulls' braids and pigs' wigs!) Wally wouldn't budge until all the animals danced the haircut hoedown - and he was stuck. Guess where this is going? You're right. Wally gets unstuck and does the thing he missed most. The illustrations make this sweet story exceptional. Read it with a child who's reluctant to have a haircut; it just might change their mind.
