opens: '
I am a child of BOOKS. / I come from a WORLD of stories / and upon my IMAGINation / I Float.
' The small girl who narrates invites the reader to
come away
with her.

he tells us that though some have forgotten where she lives, there are mountains of make-believe to discover, treasures to find in the darkness, forests of fairy tales to explore - in a world open to all, '
For IMAGination is FREE.

W
hat makes the book so special is Winston's wonderful use of typography to build images (e.g. in a tsunami of text from favorite childhood books) into his illustrations. Use this lovely volume to inspire younger readers, and to remind older ones of the worlds of books we love to inhabit.
