his beautifully illustrated picture book is based on lyrics of Canadian singer Hawksley Workman's song from his holiday album,
Almost a Full Moon

ollow the music to a cabin in the snow-laden woods, where a boy and his grandmother make soup together. Grandma says, '
Let's make some soup 'cause the weather is turning cold
' (the song's refrain). Folk arrive as the candles burn low, '
No one's different and everyone's alone.

t's a charming presentation of community, working and celebrating together, and the joy of sharing with others. And the illustrations bring these ideas to life. What a lovely picture book.
