So Cozy    by Lerryn Korda Order:  USA  Can Candlewick, 2015 (2015) Hardcover     Reviewed by Bob Walch The joy of snuggling gets out of hand in this cute picture book about a puppy whose bed is invaded by a number of other animals who can't resist how cozy the little dog is in his resting place. First a goose comes along and hops in the bed. Then a cat, some bunnies and two bears find they can't resist the temptation to also snuggle up. But when the impromptu party expands to a goat, snake and elephant, then something has to give. A very small mouse turns out to be the straw that broke the camel's back, so to speak. When mouse hops on the pile, something happens that you won't expect, but it will return the dog's sleeping arrangements to normalcy. Young readers (3-4 years of age) will find this a fun story and one they will have no problem getting into quickly. Don't be surprised if this book moves to the top of your child's list of must read stories.
