F
ollow a little dog named Migloo as he has a fun filled day packed with excitement. The day begins with Migloo going off to market with Farmer Tom.
Y
ou'll notice that the double page spreads are filled with illustrations so there's much to see (almost too much) so it will take time to take the entire scene in.
E
ach section also includes some questions that ask the reader to locate things. For example, the first spread asks the child to locate a butterfly and find some pink knitting.
D
uring the rest of the day Migloo will visit a costume shop, spend some time at a local factory, stop by the fire station and local school, check out the garage and meet his friends at the park.
S
ince each page is crammed with detailed illustrations, this picture book forces the viewer to focus on the pictures and try and take in all the action occurring in the scene. Most picture books do not feature this much detail; thus, this one is in a class all of its own. Hopefully it will result in the youngster spending more time looking at the pictures since there is so much to take in.
