Peep is excited about Halloween and going out to trick-or-treat but his little brother, Egg, isn't sure he wants to be part of the festivities.

Poor Egg can only envision vampires, mummies, witches and ghosts. So for him this doesn't sound like a very enjoyable outing.

It is up to Peep to convince his brother that Halloween can be a fun evening but it won't be an easy task. First, Peep tries to get Egg to just slip into his Halloween costume, but all he hears from his sibling is, 'I'm not trick-or-treating.'

Peep's next approach is to try some humor. 'What do you call a witch at the beach?' he asks. 'A sand-WITCH!' Well, that doesn't work either!

Determined to get his little brother to enjoy Halloween, Peep keeps trying and, sure enough, eventually he succeeds. As you will see, they both have a good time and collect lots of tasty treats.

This lighthanded picture book not only introduces Halloween to a young reader but will also address any latent fears he or she might have about this scariest of days. If your child does have any reservations about Halloween, this book will hopefully help him or her get past them.
