Y
oungsters two years of age and older will enjoy following the adventures of this little mouse and his friends as they try to snatch a red object resting high up in a tree. Each animal has his/her own idea of what he/she is looking at. Is it a red marble, a ball or a balloon?
T
he trick is to figure out a way of reaching the object. Finally the friends join forces and when they reach the object they will be in for a big surprise. I'll let you discover what the red object really is!
T
his is a cute story with attractive illustrations. There are holes to peek through and an occasional flap to flip open, so this calls for a little interaction with the narrative. The author also stresses the importance of cooperation and sharing too, which is a good message that can't be repeated too often for toddlers.
