Each grouping of photos focuses on a specific activity such as hiding, racing, talking, eating and sleeping. Toward the end of the book all the animals are featured in a collage with their proper names listed, so the young reader can also practice naming them besides working on his or her counting skills. The author also provides information about the home zoo of each baby featured, its species and conservation status. The ZooBorn series has now expanded to three titles because toddlers, in particular, can't seem to get enough of these adorable little critters. If you have the first two volumes you'll certainly want to add this one to your home collection!
