board books featuring various types of animals have been a resounding hit. The latest edition of the popular series looks at various farm animals. Peep through the spy holes and use the clues to make a guess about what animal is featured on the next page.

oddlers will quickly become enamored with this guessing game and join in making animal noises and identifying the various barnyard critters. The menagerie includes a duck, rooster, lamb, pig and cow.
W
hile learning to recognize characteristics that identify a given animal, and recite the name, the child will also be practicing his or her observation skills. This is a game that translates to a wider venue and can be played while traveling or visiting a park or other location.
