his simple board book features black and white illustrations, plus the names of the pictured animals. You'll find a chipmunk, bobcat, otter, skunk and small child presented on adjoining pages in awake and sleep modes.

t's a very simple book, whose full page illustrations will capture the child's attention. Mom or dad will have to supply the narrative because, aside from the critter's name, there's no text.

or a young child this is an excellent
beginners
book. Being a board book it is sturdy and there really is no need for a narrative. Let your youngster focus on the illustrations and the difference between being asleep and awake.

ometimes a picture is really far more effective than any story line!
