I
n this humorous picture book for youngsters three years of age and older, you'll follow the process as hundreds of little eggs found in a pond undergo the transformation that will eventually produce robust, active frogs.
D
ouble page spreads featuring the changes that take place - from egg to tadpole to adult amphibian - and a rhymed narrative make this a fun and informative read. The humorous pictures will hold a young reader's attention and the author shows the changes occurring without getting too technical, which would be a turn off for the younger set.
A
n excellent book that uses a light touch to explain a frog's metamorphosis
Leaps and Bounce
offers a nice way of getting a child interested in some of the wonderful mysteries that occur in nature.
