Imagine his surprise and shock when he begins to notice that each morning when he wakes up one of his favorite books is missing. At first the little boy blames family members for the loss. But his mother, father and little sister are not responsible for the missing books. The mystery goes much deeper. It takes Spencer's ingenious scheme to discover who is taking his books and you'll be as surprised as he is when the discovery is made. A funny story with a satisfying conclusion, this is a picture book young readers who love books will enjoy. It not only will work well for bedtime read aloud sessions but beginning readers will find it manageable too.
