Here's another picture book on the women's rights movement and the role that Elizabeth Cady Stanton and other women played in moving the nation forward. In addition to Stanton, some of the other women who sparked the movement include Lucretia Mott, Susan B. Anthony, the Blackwell sisters, Sojourner Truth and Lucy Stone.

Besides excellent illustrations that chart the 75 year struggle for equality, the text provides content that takes this beyond being just a picture book. There are plenty of facts that trace the development of the suffrage movement, plus a helpful timeline at the back of the book. The book's cover also features a poster on the reverse side that showcases the keyplayers mentioned in the narrative.

An excellent overview of the long campaign for women's rights, this is a book that every school library should have and history teachers will want to include it, when assembling an American history reading list for elementary students.
